Steakhouse Smash Burgers
Crispy-edged beef patties seasoned with bold steakhouse flavor from the JonesMade Reserve Steakhouse Blend cooked on a hot skillet or griddle for classic steakhouse-style flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1 tbsp JonesMade Reserve Steakhouse Blend
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- Optional toppings:
- lettuce
- tomato
- onion
- pickles
- burger sauce
Instructions
1. Form Beef Balls
Divide beef into 4 equal portions and loosely roll into balls.
Do not overwork the meat.
2. Heat Skillet or Griddle
Heat a cast iron skillet or flat top griddle over high heat until very hot.
Lightly butter the surface.
3. Smash Burgers
Place beef balls onto the hot surface.
Smash flat using a burger press or sturdy spatula.
Season generously with:
Cook for 2–3 minutes until crispy edges form.
Flip once.
Add cheese immediately after flipping.
Cook another 1–2 minutes.
4. Toast Buns
Lightly toast buns on the skillet for 30–60 seconds.
5. Build Burgers
Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve immediately.
Pro Tip
For the best smash burger crust, avoid moving the patties while cooking the first side.
