Cast Iron Ribeye Steak
A perfectly seared ribeye steak finished with butter, garlic, and fresh herbs using the bold flavor of the JonesMade Reserve Steakhouse Blend.

Ingredients
- 2 ribeye steaks (1–1½ inches thick)
- 1 tbsp JonesMade Reserve Steakhouse Blend
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme
Instructions
1. Bring Steak to Room Temperature
Remove steaks from refrigerator 30–45 minutes before cooking.
Pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
2. Season
Coat both sides generously with:
Press seasoning lightly into the meat.
3. Heat Cast Iron Skillet
Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until extremely hot.
Add olive oil.
4. Sear Steaks
Place steaks into skillet.
Cook without moving:
- 3–4 minutes first side
- 3–4 minutes second side
Adjust timing depending on desired doneness.
5. Butter Baste
Reduce heat slightly.
Add:
- butter
- garlic
- rosemary or thyme
Tilt pan and spoon melted butter over steaks continuously for 1–2 minutes.
6. Rest & Serve
Remove steaks and let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
Serve with:
- roasted potatoes
- asparagus
- mushrooms
- salad
Pro Tip
For the best steakhouse crust, make sure the steak surface is completely dry before seasoning and searing.
